A couple things to consider when upgrading your Corvettes points to HEI are that you must remove your Corvette’s ignition shielding due to the distributor cap size and our Corvette HEI Coil Pigtail is a must have to complete installation. To install the new HEI distributor you must remove the ballast resistor (on equipped Corvettes) or white cloth covered wire which drops voltage to your original points style distributor. Voltage for HEI distributors should be 13.7 volts (approximately, when vehicle is running) to operate at peak efficiency. This HEI tachometer drive distributor will work on all 1962-1974 Corvettes except 340 horsepower applications.

The 1953-1982 Corvette Aero-Rivet Tool is the ultimate solution to the rivet setting dilemma for 1953-1982 Corvettes. The Aero Rivet setting tool allows for the precision setting of steel, aluminum, brass tubular and semi-tubular rivets used on Corvettes such as those found on re-bound straps, window channels and heater boxes, without damaging the material being riveted. It is CNC machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum and uses high grade steel components. Its overall size is 4″ x 3″ with a 2″ x 2″ throat opening. The rivet tool is supplied with two depth adjustable rivet head bases, one for truss head rivets and one for flat head rivets and two interchangeable rivet setting/fold-over tips, one for large rivets and one for small rivets. The rivet setting tips are hardened for greater durability and longer tool life.

Our new 1956-1962 Corvette Chrome Windshield Side Posts are correct reproductions for 1960-1962 Corvettes and excellent replacements for 1956-1959 Corvettes. The chrome C1 Corvette windshield side posts are manufactured from N.O.S. side posts and are then chrome plated for a perfect look and shine. Be sure to take into consideration when installing these posts that they must be fitted specifically to each individual Corvette. We have added three new capacitors to our inventory that are designed to work on 1955-1962 Corvettes. Each capacitor is a new reproduction of the original and includes the correct wiring connection, mount bracket and  stamped part number. It is essential to use these 1955-1962 Corvette Capacitors because ignition systems, charging systems, and electrical devices used on C1 Corvettes create magnetic pulses that are of the same frequency range as AM radio. The result of not using the correct capacitors will cause radio interference or noise. These capacitors divert this noise to the ground so it is not heard through the radio speakers as an annoying buzz or whine.

Corvette Spark Plug Wires

We now have factory spark plug wires available for 1975-1982 Corvettes. The spark plug wires are fabricated by the original equipment manufacture, Packard Industries, who continues to produce correct looking spark plug wires for Corvettes. These 8mm wires are manufactured from the original tooling and include correct Packard Delcore II wire, which uses a special Kevlar silicone wrapped construction to prevent breaks and cracks in the conductor. The boots of the C3 Corvette Spark Plug Wires are made of the correct material, to the original thickness, with the knobs on the end for the distributor retainer; the terminals are stainless steel. These are not generic sets of spark plug wires; each set includes correct length wires for an easy, clean factory installation and is 100% Made in USA.
