Corvette Floor Pans

If you have restored or are restoring a 1975-1982 Corvette you most likely have had to deal with rust issues in your floor pans. Rusted floor pans are a major problem with 1975-1982 Corvettes. In 1975, GM decided to install steel floor pans instead of the previously used fiberglass floor pans, most likely to cut down interior noise and heat. The problem with the steel floor pans, of course, is when they are exposed to water for long periods of time; they rust. If you have been around or worked on many 1968-1982 era Corvettes then you probably know that they are prone to leaking and rusting around the windshield frame and t-tops. Replace the windshield frame to fix the source of the problem. Over time the water makes its way down into the floor where it sits under the carpet and rusts the floor pans. You can try to patch smaller rust holes but often times the only solution is to completely replace the damaged floor pans.

We now offer brand new 1975-1982 Corvette Floor Pans so you do not have to worry about finding a donor car to cut set out of yourself. Our Corvette floor pans are designed to be welded in the rear and sides while the front is riveted in place as original. During the installation you will be able to keep your Corvette’s original transmission and driveshaft tunnel. These new floor pans are correctly made for either 75-77 or 78-82 where previously there was only one style available for all 75-82. A couple things to consider when upgrading your Corvettes points to HEI are that you must remove your Corvette’s ignition shielding due to the distributor cap size and our Corvette HEI Coil Pigtail is a must have to complete installation. To install the new HEI distributor you must remove the ballast resistor (on equipped Corvettes) or white cloth covered wire which drops voltage to your original points style distributor. Voltage for HEI distributors should be 13.7 volts (approximately, when vehicle is running) to operate at peak efficiency. This HEI tachometer drive distributor will work on all 1962-1974 Corvettes except 340 horsepower applications.

The 1953-1982 Corvette Aero-Rivet Tool is the ultimate solution to the rivet setting dilemma for 1953-1982 Corvettes. The Aero Rivet setting tool allows for the precision setting of steel, aluminum, brass tubular and semi-tubular rivets used on Corvettes such as those found on re-bound straps, window channels and heater boxes, without damaging the material being riveted. It is CNC machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum and uses high grade steel components. Its overall size is 4″ x 3″ with a 2″ x 2″ throat opening. The rivet tool is supplied with two depth adjustable rivet head bases, one for truss head rivets and one for flat head rivets and two interchangeable rivet setting/fold-over tips, one for large rivets and one for small rivets. The rivet setting tips are hardened for greater durability and longer tool life.

One of the latest additions to our Corvette Parts inventory includes new 1977/1979 Corvette Horn Buttons and 1978 25th Anniversary Corvette Horn Buttons. The new C3 horn buttons come complete and include the horn button cap, horn button emblem, and horn button retainer. Once you receive the parts you simply paint the cap, assemble the emblem and retainer, and install on your Corvette’s Steering Column. New reproduction 1978 Corvette Power Antenna Assembly for Corvettes without the factory CB radio option installed. This antenna includes the correct steel mounting bracket for mounting on 1978 only Corvettes. The power antenna is designed to retract when the radio is turned off or when the ignition switch is turned off. Installation instructions are included with the antenna and only require basic hand tools. To complete installation use our 1978-1982 Corvette Power Antenna Install Kit, which includes the coax cable, mount bracket and electrical harness from the relay to the antenna.

Corvette Spark Plug Wires

We now have factory spark plug wires available for 1975-1982 Corvettes. The spark plug wires are fabricated by the original equipment manufacture, Packard Industries, who continues to produce correct looking spark plug wires for Corvettes. These 8mm wires are manufactured from the original tooling and include correct Packard Delcore II wire, which uses a special Kevlar silicone wrapped construction to prevent breaks and cracks in the conductor. The boots of the C3 Corvette Spark Plug Wires are made of the correct material, to the original thickness, with the knobs on the end for the distributor retainer; the terminals are stainless steel. These are not generic sets of spark plug wires; each set includes correct length wires for an easy, clean factory installation and is 100% Made in USA.

For 1968-1971 Corvettes we have an excellent replacement set that includes non-retractable lap belts plus shoulder harnesses with new technology retractors. The push button buckles are the original GM style without the GM logo. This seat belt set fits 1968-1971 Corvettes equipped with shoulder harnesses and includes the web stops plus all necessary mounting hardware.

72-73 Corvette Seat Belts

Our 1972-1973 Corvette Lap & Shoulder Seat Belt Sets fit both coupe and convertible Corvettes equipped with shoulder harnesses. This seat belt set includes new technology retractors for both the lap and the shoulder belts plus comes with the original style push button buckles without the GM logo. Web stops and all necessary seat belt mount hardware is included with the set.

74-77 Corvette Coupe Seat Belts

1974-1977 Corvette coupes in need of new lap & shoulder seat belts can be brought back to life with our single retractor lap and shoulder set. Our 1974-1977 Corvette Coupe Seat Belt Sets will serve as a great replacement to the belts currently installed in your Corvette. Instead of the double retractors, the single retractor, also found on later C3 Corvettes, mounts behind each seat on the wheel well. 1970-1977 Corvette Lap Belts

1970-1977 coupes came standard from the factory with shoulder harnesses, however this was not the case for 1970-1975 convertibles. Many convertibles left the factory with just lap belts as the shoulder harnesses were optional. Our 1970-1977 Corvette Lap Belts include new technology retractors with original looking latches, web stops, GM style push button buckles that do not include the GM logo, and mount hardware.

In 1978 Chevrolet switched to the single retractor seat belt design in all Corvettes. Our 1978-1982 Corvette Seat Belt Sets are available in multiple interior colors and include the GM style buckles without the GM logo and all necessary mounting hardware.
