C5/C6 Carbon Fiber Driveshaft

Stock C5 & C6 Corvette aluminum driveshafts can “whip” at high RPM’s, which can eventually lead to a bent or broken driveshaft. By upgrading to a carbon fiber Corvette driveshaft you will not have to worry about bending or breaking your Corvette’s stock driveshaft as the carbon fiber will not change shape at high RPM’s. Zip’s new carbon fiber driveshaft is stronger and lighter than the stock driveshaft and unlike the factory setup, you will not have to worry about vibration issues caused by bends or breaks. In the event of a driveline failure the carbon fiber driveshaft will “broom”, which will just polish the inside of the torque tube instead of causing a complete failure.

Our carbon fiber driveshaft will bolt-in to a 2001-2010 C5/C6 Corvette with a manual 6 Speed Transmission and provide instant reliability and safety for any C5/C6 Corvette owner who enjoys pushing the limits of their Corvette. C6 Corvette Clutch Assembly

The LS9X Corvette Clutch Assembly is your answer to any C6 Corvette clutch woes. The new high performance yet dependable twin disk clutch assembly utilizes an aluminum flywheel with a stock ZR1 twin disk clutch. It has been rated to handle 700 rear wheel horsepower and is as drivable as your stock Corvette clutch. In the past you would have to make do with poor drivability so that your Corvette’s clutch could handle more power, with the C6 Corvette LS9X Katech Twin Disk Clutch Assembly you get the best of both worlds. The LS9X is 8lbs lighter then the stock Z06/LS7 clutch and will not produce the rattle associated with other clutches while your transmission is in neutral. By utilizing an aluminum flywheel every C6 Corvette owner, excluding ZR1 owners, can bolt this twin disk clutch assembly in without any modifications.

C6 Sprint Booster

We are always looking to take advantage of every square inch of the C6 Corvette. One way to see that this happens is to install a Corvette Sprint Booster Power Converter. The sprint booster will eliminate the delay between your gas pedal and the throttle body that is common on all drive by wire systems. The sprint booster changes the opening rate at which your Corvette’s Throttle Body opens in relation to the gas pedal operation and decreases the amount of time to achieve full throttle. This helps reaction times at the drag strip, and also helps to accelerate quicker out of turns on the road course. The C6 Corvette sprint booster gives real time control over the acceleration of your Corvette’s Engine and the best part is that it fits all 2006 and later Corvettes including the Z06 and ZR1.

C6 160 Thermostat

Until now, Corvette Parts vendors have been selling 2004-2008 style Corvette thermostats to 2009-2010 Corvette owners. With the appearances of the two 160 degree thermostats being so similar it is easy to understand why. We want all 2009-2010 Corvette owners to know that the 2004-2008 style thermostat, even though it does fit, will not work properly on your Corvette and will cause a leak.

What is different on the new C6 Corvette 160 Degree Thermostat is the size. GM changed the size of the thermostat on all 2009-2010 Corvettes, which causes sealing issues when installing a 2004-2008 style thermostat. We offer and stock Motorad 160 degree thermostats for all 2009-2010 Corvettes. Motorad is an OEM supplier and has designed a direct replacement 160 degree thermostat that literally drops in place. With this addition to your 2009-2010 Corvette you can now improve your Corvette’s overall performance by allowing the engine to run cooler than the factory thermostat’s setting. Cooler running engines produce greater horsepower and operate more efficiently. You may think it would be hard to improve on the very potent ZR1 Corvette since it comes from GM with 638 hp, but it is possible. The Corvette engineers did a fantastic job of bringing us an awesome car, but they also gave us something capable of more. Mamba Fresh Air Scoop	The Mamba Fresh Air Scoop allows the ZR1 Corvette air intake to achieve it’s full potential by ramping fresh air from the front of your ZR1 Corvette directly into the opening of the intake. The Mamba Fresh Air Scoop is mounted to your ZR1 Corvette’s radiator shroud with 3M double sided tape.
ZR1 Corvette Supercharger Upgrade Kit	The Lingenfelter ZR1 Supercharger Pulley Upgrade Kit is designed to enhance the LS9 Corvette ZR1 supercharged engine. This upgrade kit produces excellent horsepower and torque improvements over the factory 638 horsepower and 604 lbs. ft of torque while maintaining a safe level of boost and supercharger RPM.
Performance Corvette Spark Plug Wires	These Hi-Performance spark plug wires are built to Zip’s standards, built specifically for Corvettes with headers. We start out using a Delco Mag wire and then heat shield it with some of the best products the aftermarket has to offer. This will be the last set of wires you will ever have to replace from getting burned by a header or just plain wearing out. These C6 Corvette spark plug wires are the perfect compliment to the Kooks Stepped Headers also included in this LS9 power package.
ZR1 Corvette PCM Programming	To go with all of the upgrades to your LS9 Corvette engine, we will also upgrade your ZR1 Corvette’s PCM. With custom PCM programming using HP Tuners scanning and diagnostic tools we can modify just about any setting available within your ZR1 Corvette’s computer system.
Kooks ZR1 Corvette Stepped Headers	If you really want to step up your Corvette’s exhaust system then consider a set of Kooks Custom Headers from Zip Corvette. Kooks Stepped Header design, which is included in this power package melds the particular advantages of specific tube diameters: low end torque from 1 3/4″ primaries at the flange, then opening up to 2″ tubes for unrestricted top end. Built by Kooks Custom Headers, manufactured from mandrel bent 304 stainless steel with 3/8″ flanges and 3″ collectors. Stepped headers include O2 sensor bungs, gaskets and sensor extensions.
Kooks ZR1 Corvette Mid-Section	This mid-section is designed to complete installation of Zip/Kooks R-series “stepped” headers on LS9 equipped Corvettes. The mid-pipe bolts directly to the 3″ collectors and allows you to utilize the ZR1 exhaust system of your choice; in this case the ZR1 Corsa Sport. The 304 stainless steel center section includes a crossover pipe and hi-flow stainless steel converters for a completely street legal performance exhaust system.
Corsa Sport ZR1 Corvette Exhaust System	Also included in the LS9 ZR1 Corvette Power Package is the clean-sheet engineered C6 ZR1 Corvette Corsa Sport Exhaust System. Corsa’s famous sport system includes a race car like sound at full throttle yet a calm sound great for cruising speeds, military grade 321L stainless steel, and an increase in horsepower and airflow over the stock application. The quad 4″ exhaust tips finished with the Corsa logo adds the finishing touches to this near perfect Corvette exhaust.

ZR1 Corvette W/LS9 Power Package

Take a look at a couple of our before and after dyno runs of a customers ZR1 Corvette with our LS9 power package installed. As you can see in the graph the ZR1 Corvette was producing 429 rear wheel horsepower and 410 ft-lbs. of torque at 5500 rpm (red). After installation of our ZR1 Corvette Power Package the ZR1 produced 534 rear wheel horsepower and 510 ft-lbs. of torque at the same 5500 rpm (blue). That’s an improvement of over 100 horsepower and 100 ft-lbs. of torque on a stock ZR1 Corvette. Not only did this ZR1 produce greater numbers but it sounded like a pure race car with the C6 Corsa Exhaust System, Kooks Headers, and Kooks Mid Section. So if you thought adding to your ZR1 Corvette was impossible you may want to think again. Our power package will make any stock ZR1 accelerate faster and produce approximately100 more horsepower to the rear wheels.

Our two-piece 14″ rotor and hat assemblies are made in the USA and weigh only 16.25 pounds. The aluminum hats are machined from 6061 T6 aircraft grade aluminum that is hard coated black anodized.
