Corvette Spark Plug Wires

We now have factory spark plug wires available for 1975-1982 Corvettes. The spark plug wires are fabricated by the original equipment manufacture, Packard Industries, who continues to produce correct looking spark plug wires for Corvettes. These 8mm wires are manufactured from the original tooling and include correct Packard Delcore II wire, which uses a special Kevlar silicone wrapped construction to prevent breaks and cracks in the conductor. The boots of the C3 Corvette Spark Plug Wires are made of the correct material, to the original thickness, with the knobs on the end for the distributor retainer; the terminals are stainless steel. These are not generic sets of spark plug wires; each set includes correct length wires for an easy, clean factory installation and is 100% Made in USA.

Simply spray non-aerosol stripper on the Corvette and paint can be removed in minutes. Spra strip will remove epoxy, enamel, polyurethane, acrylic, lacquer, imron, varnish, undercoating, grease, and bondo. Safe on all surfaces except urethane bumpers.

Malfunctioning headlights and/or wiper doors are very common on 1968-1982 Corvettes. Though the system may seem to be very complicated at first glance, it is actually very simple and can be troubleshooted by any “do-it-yourselfer” with basic hand tools and one free afternoon. Usually dry or cracked vacuum hoses and actuator seals are your culprits. If they are original, they have experienced a great deal of heat from the engine over many years. Corvette Headlights

To get started read through a 1968-1982 Corvette Vacuum System Troubleshooting Guide that comes with illustrated diagrams and information necessary to diagnose your Corvette’s Vacuum System. The troubleshooting guide goes into great detail about the vacuum system and will eliminate just about any frustration brought on by malfunctioning wiper doors and headlights.

If you get into your Corvette’s Vacuum System Overhaul and have replaced all hoses, valves, seals, etc. and still have issues with the headlights or wiper door not working properly you may have a problem within your Corvette’s vacuum control subsystem. The troubleshooting guide will go into more detail about the control subsystem and operating subsystem, which will help you gain a better understanding of your entire Corvette’s Vacuum System. After reading the vacuum troubleshooting guide you will be able to accurately diagnose any problems with your Corvette’s headlight or wiper door vacuum system.

Just pop the hood on any 1968-1982 Corvette, and you can very easily identify the originality of your master cylinder through small, yet important details. If you’re not sure you have a correct master cylinder, consider researching through a 1968-1982 Corvette NCRS Judging Manual. The NCRS manuals are full of information that will break down each item on your Corvette.

If your Corvette’s brake system is in need for a new master cylinder, you have several choices through Zip Corvette. First, you can rebuild your Corvette’s master cylinder with a rebuild kit. These kits include all the seals, boots, clips and piston required for overhauling your original cylinder. If rebuilding your unit is not an option, consider purchasing a new master cylinder. Zip has master cylinders that are great replacements (a little cheaper) or 100% correct and will pass NCRS judging standards.
