1992 C4 Corvette For Sale
We’ve just listed another Corvette for sale on eBay:
This gorgeous 1992 Corvette Coupe is Quasar Blue (only 1043 made) with gray leather interior. The paint is in impeccable condition and this Corvette hardly has a scratch on the entire surface. The car has a painted top, has been garaged kept and only driven on sunny days. It probably has over 100 coats of Meguiar’s Mirror Glaze wax on it.
The gray leather interior is in nice shape, there are no rips or tears and this Corvette has never been smoked in. Several of the amps and speakers have been replaced, floor mats have been added as well as door sill guards. This car is loaded with all options including power seats and climate control. The stereo sounds great, the CD player does not work, (common problem), the a/c blows ice cold, and all other power options operate like they should.
The car is powered by the LT-1 350-300 hp mated to an automatic transmission. The car runs, drives, and shifts great. The car has 85,407 actual miles. We installed a Corsa Exhaust System 2 years ago that looks and sounds great. This car gets between 19-25 miles to the gallon, we would drive it any distance in a moments notice.
The chrome wheels are 17 inch Eagle’s with P275/40/ZR17 Goodyear Eagle GS-C tires.
There are plenty of cars like this for sale for 7K-8K with edgy paint, sun bleached interior, smoked in, and dogged out. This Corvette is super nice, includes an awesome color combination, has been driven only 10K miles in the past five years by a 60 year old man. It is sure to please even the most discerning buyer. Inspections are encouraged and welcomed. Any questions please call Andy Young 800-962-9632. Bid Now!

I am looking for a PROM for the engine control module on my 1992 LT1 automatic Corvette. Does anyone know where I could find one? Here are the particulars:
GM Part number 1171325
DELCO 5224 this is the run number
DELCO BAFN3876 this is the memory type in the module
68767 91 46N corresponds to where/when the Corvette was built. This was embossed on the plastic packaging of the memory module
You may be in trouble, these have not been available for a while. However, if you can find a tuner that can burn their own proms, then possibly they could make you a stock one.
That is a really nice looking Corvette, I don’t think that you will have much trouble selling that beauty!
@Brophonics
There is a place called SIA Electronics in Tilden, Ill. that can rebuild yur prom.

I am in need of a 1992 Power Window Switch, Drivers side. I went to Chevrolet and was told that part has been discontinued for years. I took it to a mechanic and he said it could be the motor. I disagree since it always worked great and then one day it just quit. If anyone has any feedback or solutions please let me know…
Hi Brian:
If Chevrolet is telling you that they cannot get it, then it probably means that no company is making them new, however you do have a couple of options on how to get one used. First off you can go to a swap meet or a junkyard and find one. Second, there is the Corvette Forum. It’s a free website where Corvette enthuisist ask and answer Corvette questions. There is also a forum where you can buy and sell old parts. Some people may have suggestions on where to get one. Third option would be Vette Masters out of Virginia Beach. They specialize in used 84-96 Corvette Parts. Their number is 757-490-2570.
