1985-1989 Corvette Air Filter Cover Screw
Sometimes, the biggest headaches come from the smallest Corvette Parts. Previously discontinued by GM, the Corvette Air Filter Cover Screw is once again available for your 1985-1989 C4 Corvette. The threaded metal shaft with “knurled” plastic top holds the air filter cover to the housing. Two of these screws are required per Corvette.
Corvettes are highly susceptible to front end damage or collisions, therefore Zip has added several new reproduction Corvette Parts that have been previously discontinued by GM. All are needed to properly repair the front end of your Corvette both for aesthetics and proper cooling efficiencies. C4 Corvette Lower Baffle
On many early model C4 Corvettes, the Air Intake Radiator Lower Baffle is often seriously damaged or in the worst cases, missing all together due to parking lot stops or curbs. Not having the radiator lower baffle can inhibit your Corvette’s cooling system from cooling the engine properly by not directing airflow through the radiator. This reproduction radiator lower air baffle, also sometimes called a radiator duct, is necessary to keep your engine at the correct operating temperature. Fits 1985-1989 Corvettes only.
C4 Corvette Valance Panel
Often the casualty of concrete parking stops or curbs, it’s not uncommon for a C4 to be missing the Corvette Lower Valance Panel/Air Deflector. This C4 Corvette item is critical for keeping your Corvette operating at normal temperatures by helping to direct air into the radiator for efficient cooling. Fits all 1984-1989 Corvettes.
Lower Valance Panel Brace
The Corvette Lower Valance Panel/Air Deflector Brace attaches to the radiator lower air baffle in the middle to give support to the front air deflector. If your car’s brace is missing, it can raise the temperature of the engine significantly. This deflector brace is a reproduction of the 1986 and later model which was engineered to be heavier than the flimsy 1984-1985 style braces. Fits all 1984-1990 Corvettes.
Corvette Air Dam Retainer
The Corvette Lower Air Dam Center Retainer is an important part to support and strengthen the lower plastic baffle. Replacing this retainer with this new reproduction insures the air baffle is properly supported and helps to insure cool air is properly directed into your early C4 Corvette. Fits all 1984-1996 Corvettes.
Corvette Green Performance Air Filters
Green Performance Corvette Air Filters are excellent replacement air filters for Corvette owners who want to upgrade their air intake without changing the entire system. Unlike multi-layer gauze filters, which can fray and release fiber particles into your Corvette’s engine, Green performance air filters use two layers of tightly-interwoven cotton fabric. Because the fabric is so durable, Green air filters can be washed and reused over and over, which is why a lifetime guarantee comes with each filter.
Other Corvette air filters use a simple pressure molded injection process to bond the perimeter rubber to the interior components. That method saves manufacturing time, but in the process, a considerable amount of rubber can seep onto the filtering surface. This can restrict airflow as much as 25%. Green filters go through a precise four step production process that virtually eliminates all seepage and maintains maximum airflow through the filter.  Kooks ZR1 Corvette Stepped Headers |
If you really want to step up your Corvette’s exhaust system then consider a set of Kooks Custom Headers from Zip Corvette. Kooks Stepped Header design, which is included in this power package melds the particular advantages of specific tube diameters: low end torque from 1 3/4″ primaries at the flange, then opening up to 2″ tubes for unrestricted top end. Built by Kooks Custom Headers, manufactured from mandrel bent 304 stainless steel with 3/8″ flanges and 3″ collectors. Stepped headers include O2 sensor bungs, gaskets and sensor extensions.

This mid-section is designed to complete installation of Zip/Kooks R-series “stepped” headers on LS9 equipped Corvettes. The mid-pipe bolts directly to the 3″ collectors and allows you to utilize the ZR1 exhaust system of your choice; in this case the ZR1 Corsa Sport. The 304 stainless steel center section includes a crossover pipe and hi-flow stainless steel converters for a completely street legal performance exhaust system.

Also included in the LS9 ZR1 Corvette Power Package is the clean-sheet engineered C6 ZR1 Corvette Corsa Sport Exhaust System. Corsa’s famous sport system includes a race car like sound at full throttle yet a calm sound great for cruising speeds, military grade 321L stainless steel, and an increase in horsepower and airflow over the stock application. The quad 4″ exhaust tips finished with the Corsa logo adds the finishing touches to this near perfect Corvette exhaust.

ZR1 Corvette W/LS9 Power Package
Take a look at a couple of our before and after dyno runs of a customers ZR1 Corvette with our LS9 power package installed. As you can see in the graph the ZR1 Corvette was producing 429 rear wheel horsepower and 410 ft-lbs. of torque at 5500 rpm (red). After installation of our ZR1 Corvette Power Package the ZR1 produced 534 rear wheel horsepower and 510 ft-lbs. of torque at the same 5500 rpm (blue). That’s an improvement of over 100 horsepower and 100 ft-lbs. of torque on a stock ZR1 Corvette. Not only did this ZR1 produce greater numbers but it sounded like a pure race car with the C6 Corsa Exhaust System, Kooks Headers, and Kooks Mid Section. So if you thought adding to your ZR1 Corvette was impossible you may want to think again. Our power package will make any stock ZR1 accelerate faster and produce approximately100 more horsepower to the rear wheels.
With 3 years in development Zip Products is pleased to introduce the Mamba Air Intake System for C6 Corvettes. The Mamba is made from 100% Carbon Fiber and is cured in an autoclave to insure the strongest and most durable part available. The same materials and method are used in manufacturing heavy duty carbon parts on Daytona Prototype bodies, Indycar chassis, and NASCAR brake ducts. You will not find a nicer 100% Carbon Fiber Corvette Air Intake System.
C6 Corvette Mamba Air Intake
The Mamba Corvette Air Intake takes advantage of it’s design by squeezing as much air as possible into the throttle body without the use of a Corvette Supercharger. The Mamba’s air filter is one of the largest in the Corvette aftermarket industry and was custom designed by Zip for maximum airflow. The Mamba has shown dyno proven power improvements of 20+ rear wheel horsepower when utilized with the Mamba Fresh Air Scoop. The Mamba Air Intake is a direct bolt on for all C6 Z06 Corvettes and 2008-2009 LS3 equipped Corvettes. If used in conjunction with the fresh air scoop, PCM programing will be required on 2008-2009 LS3 equipped Corvettes due to the increased amount of air flow.
Early C6 LS2 equipped Corvette owners can retrofit the Mamba Air Intake by using our mass air flow sensor adapter harness, mass air flow sensor, and power coupler. Due to the large amount of forced air, LS2 Corvettes will also require custom PCM programming of the mass air flow table.
Virginia International Raceway was packed with Corvettes from all over this past Monday and Tuesday. Dominated by the amazing Z06, there were also plenty of other awesome performers including the new 2010 Grandsport Corvette. The 2 day event consisted of driving classes and open track time for any Corvette owner. If you missed the 2009 Corvette Museum HPDE at VIR you truly missed two great days of performance driving.

This new Power-Flow Mass Air Sensor is now available from Zip Corvette Parts for 2006-2007 C6 Z06 Corvettes. This Jet Performance Products’ mass air flow sensor is an excellent upgrade for your Corvette’s Z06 engine. Unlike the factory Corvette air flow sensor, which is a major restrictive point in both stock intake systems and aftermarket cold air intake systems, this Powr-Flow Mass Air Sensor generates greater horsepower, torque, and gas mileage for your Z06 Corvette. On top of providing instant performance boosts for your Z06 Corvette, the Jet Powr-Flow Mass Air Sensor installs virtually hassle free in about 10 minutes.
Jet Powr-Flow Mass Air Sensor
Jet’s mass air flow sensor is an excellent upgrade for 2006-2007 Z06 Corvettes. Combine this sensor with a Callaway Honker or Vortex Rammer cold air induction system and your Z06 Corvette will be flowing cool air at a maximum. The combination of either cold air intake system and this air flow sensor could add up to 25 horsepower to your Corvette.

The newest Corvette Blackwing cold air package is now available from Zip Corvette Parts. The cold air intake is designed to increase and improve air flow, yielding more horsepower and a cleaner air intake system.
Blackwing Cold Air Package
The Blackwing air intake system from Zip Corvette out-flows the factory setup by as much as 90% and can provide up to +10 additional horsepower and +11 ft/lbs at the flywheel. The Blackwing uses a wire-reinforced, reusable and washable blue high-flow filter media which features an exclusive built-in flow indicator that changes color when cleaning is required. Also included in the package is a factory style finished high-volume air bridge with integrated MAF housing and secure mounting points. The new Blackwing cold air package installs on C6 Corvettes with no modifications or cutting required. All necessary hardware is included. The Blackwing filter cleaning kit is recommended with purchase for optimal cleaning and re-oiling as necessary.
