Now through August 22nd – all Corvette Carpets, Floor Mats, Heat Barriers, Underlayment and more are on sale. Any generation, any color, any style, including Corvette Floor Mats & Cargo Mats by Lloyd. Shop all of our Corvette carpet sets by generation here.

If you are replacing your Corvette’s carpet we highly recommend new floor mats at the same time. Protecting your Corvette’s new or original carpet is as simple as laying down a stylish floor mat. Our floor mats come in the factory matching colors and styles with the correct emblems. Late model enthusiasts can enjoy many custom floor mat options, all at 10% off until the sale ends.

Other highly recommended items when replacing your Corvette’s carpet include heat barrier kits and of course the underlayment…

Our Corvette Heat Barrier Kits are made of a ceramic cloth-like material with reinforced foil backing. Each kit includes 1/8″ precise cut pieces that install under the carpet to effectively reduce interior temperatures up to 50%. The best part about these heat barrier kits is that they will not affect your Corvette’s carpet fit and they can be used with your original carpet underlayment.

Our Corvette Carpet Underlayment is virtually a must have when installing new carpet because it gets ripped up when removing the existing carpet. New underlayment will help keep noise to a minimum and prolong the life of your carpet. Many Corvette owners don’t replace the underlayment when replacing the carpet, and many times the underlayment is disposed of after getting wet or damaged. Our precise cut pieces are an exact match to OEM materials: layered insulation for heat resistance bonded to a flexible rubber compound for durability.

Corvette Carpet for 1953-1996 C1, C2, C3 & C4

The Corvette did not become America’s favorite sports car by sporting the same old every day colors and designs. It is in a league of its own from every interior detail to all of the Corvette body curves and lines. One thing that most anyone would agree on when buying or looking at a Corvette is that by pure instinct we are all going to focus on several different aspects; including the Corvette’s carpet. Immediately following a few quick glances at the front and rear carpet, it is only natural to come up with our own personal thoughts towards the overall condition. The point is that the cleanliness of the Corvette’s carpet can have a huge impact on the overall rating of the car. Do not cheat yourself or your Corvette of the glamor well deserved by ignoring the problem right under your feet. An old, faded or dirty carpet will surely make the entire car look poor, while a new, clean carpet will make it stand out as exceptional.

As certain trends move in and out of style, Corvette Carpet color and material do as well. What was original in 1953 was not the same in 1963. The material used in 1963 may or may not have been used in 1973. What kind of carpet was used in 1993? As you can see there are many questions that have been raised over the years by Corvette enthusiasts just like you. Zip Corvette has put the time and effort into sorting out the different possibilities so you will be certain your Corvette’s carpet is 100% correct, fits perfect and looks great.

The original 1953 Corvette left the factory with what is known as Gros Point carpet. It was made of 100% nylon and had the appearance of fine embroidery. This carpet featured foam backing for added insulation and comfort, heel pads to help prevent quick wear and tear due to frequent use, binding to tie up any possible loose ends and of course, came in the only interior color available, which was red. The Gros Point carpet would remain the standard through 1955 and would become available in beige for all 1954 and 1955 Corvettes.
