It’s been a long time since original 1973 & 1974 Corvette Front Center Grills have been available. GM discontinued them many years ago. When you found an original often times the aluminum was corroded, popping off the original paint which required stripping and restoring. What’s even worse is if you needed a correct 1973 assembly with good chrome, that could be really tough to find.
Zip Corvette now has new reproduction front grill assemblies for these early shark-era Corvettes. The 1973 Corvette Center Grill is cast aluminum and includes the chrome leading edge and black fins as original. The 1974 Corvette Center Grill is cast aluminum as well and is painted all black as original.
