The Mamba is made from 100% Carbon Fiber and is cured in an autoclave to insure the strongest and most durable part available. The same materials and method are used in manufacturing heavy duty carbon parts on Daytona Prototype bodies, Indycar chassis, and NASCAR brake ducts. You will not find a nicer 100% Carbon Fiber Corvette Air Intake System.
C6 Corvette Mamba Air Intake
The Mamba Corvette Air Intake takes advantage of it’s design by squeezing as much air as possible into the throttle body without the use of a Corvette Supercharger. The Mamba’s air filter is one of the largest in the Corvette aftermarket industry and was custom designed by Zip for maximum airflow. The Mamba has shown dyno proven power improvements of 20+ rear wheel horsepower when utilized with the Mamba Fresh Air Scoop. The Mamba Air Intake is a direct bolt on for all C6 Z06 Corvettes and 2008-2009 LS3 equipped Corvettes. If used in conjunction with the fresh air scoop, PCM programing will be required on 2008-2009 LS3 equipped Corvettes due to the increased amount of air flow.
Early C6 LS2 equipped Corvette owners can retrofit the Mamba Air Intake by using our mass air flow sensor adapter harness, mass air flow sensor, and power coupler. Due to the large amount of forced air, LS2 Corvettes will also require custom PCM programming of the mass air flow table.

94-96 Corvette MSD Spark Plug Wires
1992-1996 LT1 & LT4 Corvette: The MSD 8.5mm Super Conductor Wire is “the” performance wire for C4 Corvettes. Engineered from the inside out, the 8.5 offers everything you have ever wanted in a wire; incredibly low resistance without electronic interference! In a single 12 inch length of Super Conductor Wire there is only 40 – 50 ohms of resistance! That is the lowest resistance of any helically wound wire. To accomplish this, MSD uses a copper alloy conductor due to its great voltage carrying capabilities. The low resistance results in less loss in spark energy so more reaches the spark plug. The conductor is wound extremely tight around a special center core. So tight in fact, that there is over 40 feet of conductor wrapped into a single foot of plug wire. This winding procedure, combined with a ferro-magnetic impregnated center core, produces an extremely effective Electro Magnetic Interference (EMI) “choke”. This choke, or suppression capability, keeps the EMI inside the wire where it cannot interfere with other electronics on your Corvette. The outer sleeve that surrounds the conductor assembly is just as impressive. A proprietary blend of silicone and synthetic material produce a sleeve that is highly resistant to high heat as well as abrasion and tears.
