The factory Z06 & ZR1 Corvette Exhaust uses 3″ mid-section pipes, but pinches down to 2.5″ at the mufflers – resulting in clipped performance, especially when adding bolt-on performance enhancements such as air intake systems, superchargers or head/cam packages. Corsa’s C6 Z06/ZR1 Corvette exhaust systems were clean-sheet engineered. Their 3″ inlet increases flow to cancel power loss and sounds “uncorked” at start-up.

If you are tired of burnt spark plug wires due to your Corvette’s Headers? These Hi-Performance C5 & C6 Corvette Spark Plug Wires are built to Zip Corvette’s standards, which means they are built specifically for Corvettes and with the required heat protection for long tube headers.
Zip’s Corvette spark plug wire sets begin with a heat shielded Magnacor wire. Magnecor’s exclusive 2.5mm high capacity Metallic Inductance EMI Suppressed conductor consists of a stainless steel wire precisely wound at 200 turns per inch over a ferromagnetic core. The insulating jacket is made entirely of Magnecor’s exclusive TC-1500-HS high strength aerospace grade silicone rubber, and its single layer construction will prolong the jacket’s insulating ability by conducting extreme heat away from hot-spots that occur near over-the-limit heat sources.
The protection provided from the heat shield guarantees that this will be the last set of spark plug wires you will ever have to replace from header burn. The KV85 8.5mm jacket has a service heat resistance of 600 degrees F (320 degrees C) and up to 1,000 degrees F (540 degrees C) for a short burst of 3 minutes. The R-100 10mm jacket has a service heat resistance of 700 degrees F (380 degrees C) and up to 1,200 degrees F (650 degrees C) for a short burst of 3 minutes. Even if limits are exceeded, the silicone rubber will retain its insulating ability until wires are removed from engine.
Magnecor wires are primarily designed and constructed to be used in applications where it is essential to prevent the possibility of ignition wires compromising engine performance. Modern race engines, modified street engines and stock street engines which rely on electronic devices to control the function of either or both the Corvette ignition and fuel systems are prone to interference from all other spiral conductor ignition wires sold through performance parts outlets, none of which can provide proper suppression for EMI, particularly if a high-output ignition system is used.
Zip Corvette always recommends use of these performance spark plug wires on any stock or modified late model Corvette engine that is electronically managed however most other modified or street engines can also use our performance spark plug wires to improve ignition performance. Fits all 1997-2011 Corvettes with or without headers.
Both the red and blue sets of these Shielded Corvette Spark Plug Wires fit all C5 and C6 Corvettes. These wires are also a great ignition upgrade for your 2009-2011 C6 ZR1 Corvette.
Zip Corvette has new reproduction fuel tank sending units for 1990-1995 ZR-1/LT5 equipped Corvettes with dual fuel pump. The C4 ZR-1/LT5 Corvette Sending Unit mounts in the top of gas tank and provides fuel fill, pick-up, electric pump and meter for the fuel gauge indicator. Like all sending units from Zip, this assembly comes completely assembled and includes the original style GM green strainer, correct electric fuel pumps, pulsator, mounting gasket or seal and accurate floats that will provide proper gauge readings for years to come. Another feature not included with cheaper Corvette sending units is that Zip’s gas tank sending units feature the latest in technology including updated resistors that are compliant with all fuels including the latest alcohol/fuel mixtures.
We have multiple versions of the C6 ZR1 Corvette hood available but the one that really stands out is our C6 ZR1 Corvette Monster Hood. The monster hood fits all 2005 and up C6 Corvettes. With over 4″ of additional engine clearance above your Corvette’s stock hood, the monster hood is the largest hood on the market. The monster ZR1 hood will clear all superchargers including the Magnuson Magna Charger and undeniably show your Corvette has something special under the hood. The clear window as seen on the stock C6 ZR1 hood is not included, however if you are interested in a ZR1 replica hood with the clear window option you can read more here.
The ZR1 Corvette monster hood is manufactured using RTM (Resin Transfer Molding) technology. RTM technology creates a part of OEM quality by injecting fiberglass into a mold and then compressing it under high pressure. This manufacturing method creates a panel that is smooth on both sides with a consistent thickness across the entire surface. The controlled fiberglass/resin composition of RTM, reduces cure times and eliminates the possibility of “wet” parts being removed from the mold prematurely; all of which is impossible with the standard hand laying process. Panels are then trimmed using a CNC robotic water jet for a clean, smooth cut on every part. The result is a better fitting hood ultimately reducing body shop installation and fitment times.
ACS, the manufacturer of the ZR1 monster hood includes all OEM brackets mounted to the inner structure of the hood to insure a ready to bolt on part. The hood also has another feature not found in aftermarket Corvette hoods but is present on the stock hood, reinforcements at the rear of the hood for the hood bumpers and crash tabs. These brackets create the reinforcement necessary in a front end collision to cause the hood to fold in half instead of coming through the windshield.
