We have multiple versions of the C6 ZR1 Corvette hood available but the one that really stands out is our C6 ZR1 Corvette Monster Hood. The monster hood fits all 2005 and up C6 Corvettes. With over 4″ of additional engine clearance above your Corvette’s stock hood, the monster hood is the largest hood on the market. The monster ZR1 hood will clear all superchargers including the Magnuson Magna Charger and undeniably show your Corvette has something special under the hood. The ZR1 Corvette monster hood is manufactured using RTM (Resin Transfer Molding) technology. RTM technology creates a part of OEM quality by injecting fiberglass into a mold and then compressing it under high pressure. This manufacturing method creates a panel that is smooth on both sides with a consistent thickness across the entire surface. The controlled fiberglass/resin composition of RTM, reduces cure times and eliminates the possibility of “wet” parts being removed from the mold prematurely; all of which is impossible with the standard hand laying process. Panels are then trimmed using a CNC robotic water jet for a clean, smooth cut on every part. The result is a better fitting hood ultimately reducing body shop installation and fitment times.
ACS, the manufacturer of the ZR1 monster hood includes all OEM brackets mounted to the inner structure of the hood to insure a ready to bolt on part. The hood also has another feature not found in aftermarket Corvette hoods but is present on the stock hood, reinforcements at the rear of the hood for the hood bumpers and crash tabs. These brackets create the reinforcement necessary in a front end collision to cause the hood to fold in half instead of coming through the windshield.

If you are adding a significant amount of horsepower to your C6 Corvette then our new C6 ZR1 Corvette Clutch Assembly should be your next investment. The stock clutch used on 2005-2010 C6 Corvettes works great and should not need replacing until you begin increasing the power that the already potent LS2, LS3 and LS7 Corvette engines produce. When you start doing that, you will need and want this new clutch.
What GM and Sachs have done with the ZR1 is designed a factory clutch that is capable of handling over 800 horsepower while still offering the drivability expected of a new C6 Corvette. Originally only available for the C6 ZR1 Corvette, you can now install the best factory clutch ever to be in a Corvette with our ZR1 Corvette clutch assembly. Our clutch kit includes the OEM ZR1 pressure plate and disk, new throw out bearing and slave cylinder, new billet steel flywheel and the necessary flywheel and pressure plate mounting hardware.
C6 ZR1 Corvette Clutch Assembly
“Can I use the ZR1 clutch in my base C6 or Z06?” Yes! We have made it possible to bolt the ZR1 clutch to any LS2, LS3 or LS7 Corvette. Our new Corvette Steel Flywheel for 2005-2010 includes six bolt holes as opposed to nine on the ZR1, which allows it to be bolted to the crankshaft on any C6 Corvette including the Z06. The steel flywheel, also sold separately, is made from billet steel by the original ZR1 flywheel manufacturer and has been tested in excess of 12,000 rpm. You should know that it is only compatible with the ZR1 Corvette Clutch Assembly.

Though every Forgeline wheel is built to meet the rigors of track use, the Forgeline Competition Series raises the bar just that much higher. The competition wheels are three pounds lighter than the Forgeline premier series wheels. They include a stepped lip that offers muscular looks and greater load capabilities. Each Forgeline competition wheel comes with a fully polished outer lip and powder coated center wheel in Silver, Gloss Black, Matte Black, Gunmetal or Matte finish Titanium. Each inner rim shell is available powder coated (see our Forgeline Options for more information). Forgeline Competition Series Corvette Wheels are available for C5 & C6 Corvettes. The C5 sizes include 18″x10″ front wheels and 18″x12″ rear wheels while the C6 includes 18″x10″ fronts and 18″x11″ rears for the non Z06, ZR1 or Grand Sport. The original “StetchBra” cloth Corvette Front Bumper Mask is tailored for an exact fit and is available in a choice of colors for your C4, C5 or C6 Corvette. The mask is convenient to use, easy to clean (hand or machine washable) and comes with a pocket-size storage bag which will fit in your Corvette’s storage compartments. Unlike other cheap Corvette nose masks our masks are Made in the USA and include a Lifetime Warranty. The base model C6 Corvette Front Bumper Nose Mask, like the Grand Sport or Z06/ZR1 masks, installs easily in less than 30 minutes. Each “StretchBra” mask attaches with retaining clips across the hood opening area and snaps in the wheel well area. Once the snaps are installed the mask can be fitted to your Corvette in just minutes. A built-in stretch cord in the bottom of the mask pulls tight providing the clean, snug fit that can not be replicated with any other material.
For improved cooling efficiency, Z06 & ZR1 Corvette cloth bumper masks can be installed on Grand Sport Corvettes. The Z06 mask features a “screened opening” to improve airflow and reduce the potential for overheating problems common with Z06 Corvettes. While not required for Grand Sport Corvettes, the Z06/ZR1 mask will install without any modifications.
The “StretchBra” front bumper cloth masks are also available for C4 and C5 Corvettes. The masks fit all C4 and C5 Corvettes including the ZR-1, Grand Sport and C5 Z06. Installation and care of these bumper masks are just as simple as they are on the C6.
To show how simple the installation of these nose masks are we have included step-by-step instructions that show how to install the C6 Z06/ZR1 Corvette (Grand Sport if desired) Front Bumper “Stretch Bra” Cloth Nose Mask on a 2007 Z06…
Step 1
Remove the five (5) screws that attach the ground affects/fender liner to the front fender of your Corvette. Repeat for both the left and right side.
Step 2
Replace the ten (10) torx head screws with the ten (10) snap screws that are supplied with the front bumper mask. Repeat for both the left and right side.
Step 3a
Attach the snaps on one end of the nose mask to the inside of your Corvette’s fender (Note: The top of the mask has plastic retainer clips). Pull the bottom of the mask under the front bumper and stretch the mask across the bumper.
Step 3b
Attach the snaps on the opposite end of the mask to the inside of the opposite fender. Be sure that the bottom of the mask remains under the front bumper.
Step 4a
Anchor the top of the mask inside the engine compartment with the plastic clips. The two inner clips will attach just under the hood seal in the vertical position.
Step 4b
The two outer clips will attach on each end of the bumper mounting bracket in the horizontal position. Be sure to attach the outer clips to the edge of the mounting bracket as shown to keep the mask stretched tight.
Step 4c
Here you can see one of the inner clips has been attached to the bumper mount bracket. Make sure that each clip rivet is pulled away from the hood before moving on.
Step 4d
Here you can see both inner clips attached in the vertical position to the bumper mount bracket. Each clip rivet is inside the engine compartment allowing for hood clearance when closing.
Step 5
Place the Velcro strip supplied with the mask under your Corvette to mate up with the Velcro strip on the bottom of the mask. Attach the six clips in the center of the mask to the grill to complete installation.
After the front bumper mask has been installed check to be sure that all snaps are fastened securely and all clips are attached properly. It is not recommended to leave the front bumper mask on for extended periods of time. The mask may be cleaned by hand or machine washed in a laundry bag with a mild detergent (no bleach).
We are always looking to take advantage of every square inch of the C6 Corvette. One way to see that this happens is to install a Corvette Sprint Booster Power Converter. The sprint booster will eliminate the delay between your gas pedal and the throttle body that is common on all drive by wire systems. The sprint booster changes the opening rate at which your Corvette’s Throttle Body opens in relation to the gas pedal operation and decreases the amount of time to achieve full throttle. This helps reaction times at the drag strip, and also helps to accelerate quicker out of turns on the road course. The C6 Corvette sprint booster gives real time control over the acceleration of your Corvette’s Engine and the best part is that it fits all 2006 and later Corvettes including the Z06 and ZR1.

The sprint booster requires a simple plug-n-play installation that takes just a few minutes and delivers instant response throughout the C6 Corvette’s power band making accelerating and rev matching incredibly more fun. In the data graph to the right you can see the test car in red, which had the sprint booster installed, accelerated at a much faster pace then the same test car without the sprint booster through each test run. There is no doubt that by adding this sprint booster to any C6, Z06 or ZR1 Corvette that the car will reach full throttle at a significantly faster pace then the stock setup, allowing you to take off and accelerate out of turns at a much faster pace.
Though they may not seem like much your C5 or C6 Corvette’s Inner & Outer CV Joint Boots play a key role in keeping your Corvette on the road. They are prone to cracking or splitting, which can have multiple negative effects on the drive-ability of your Corvette. Besides allowing contamination into the CV joint itself and causing premature wear of the bearings, cracked CV joint boots allow grease to be slung out of the boot, which can saturate your Corvette’s Brakes. This would not only cause an increase in braking distances but can also ruin your Corvette’s brake pads and rear rotors. If you have replaced your Corvette’s rear brake components or upgraded to performance brake pads & rotors, you know that brake rotor and pad replacements can get very expensive.
Until now the only sure way to avoid damage from bad CV joint boots was to replace the expensive CV axle shaft, which comes with new inner and outer CV joint boots.
