2009 National Corvette Caravan
Zip Corvette is now a proud sponsor of the 2009 Southern California & Southern Nevada National Corvette Caravan. By sponsoring this event Zip is giving back to those hardcore Corvette enthusiasts who have been loyal customers over the years. The Southern California & Southern Nevada Corvette Caravan, led by captain Hib Halverson, has already begun preparing for what is sure to be a fun trip to the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
When asked about Zip being a new sponsor of the event, Halverson said “Of course I’m glad Zip is sponsoring us because that support helps my organizing team put on a better event for our Caravaners, but there’s another reason I’m glad to have Zip as a sponsor; As a hardcore Corvette enthusiast who personally does most of the service, maintenance and modification to the Vettes I own, I appreciate the fact that a Corvette Parts vendor who markets to do-it-yourselfers supports the events in which Corvette DIYs typically participate. A caravan section captain is the one responsible for acquiring sponsorship and, as a result I network with all the other 24 section captains on sponsorship issues. I can tell you much of the Corvette aftermarket does not support the Caravan. Zip Corvette is a standout-exception to that norm.”
