I have a 1969 corvette. I need to repair the rag joint. What is the easiest way to remove and replace the rag joint? Remove the steering column or the steering box? Also, what is the best book on the market for a total restoration of a 1969 Corvette Coupe?

    Randy,
The easiest way would be to remove the steering column. As for the books the service manual, assembly manual, and NCRS judging manual seem to be very popular.

I removed the steering column. Have been looking at the NCRS judging manual and am going to purchase. THANKS!

I would like to buy 2.5″ mandrel bent 409 stainless steel intermediate exhaust pipes (from transmission cross member to muffler) for my 1975 Corvette. Do you know where I could buy these pipes?

    Richard,
We do not have these exhaust pipes. If you do find a company that is mandrel bending exhaust components for 1975 Corvettes they are probably going to be out of 304 and not 409.
