Grand prize winner will receive a professionally restored, fully loaded 1982 Collectors Edition Corvette. Other prizes include $1,500.00 and $500.00 cash prizes as well as Zip Corvette detail bags packed with Adams Car Care products. All drawings will be held at Zip on December 6. Winners do not have to be present to claim prizes. Proceeds will go towards the purchase of smoke detectors and fire extinguishers for the elderly and single mothers with children. Mid Atlantic Fire & Safety has fully restored this rare 1982 Collector Corvette. The Corvette was a built-to-order only model and earned the distinction of being the first Corvette to cost more than $20,000. Out of the 6,759 produced, this Corvette is one of only 810 made with all available options including the Gymkhana suspension and AM/FM cassette W/CB radio. This particular Corvette is a numbers matching car. It has the 350 small block engine incorporated with cross-fire fuel injection and a turbo hydromatic automatic transmission producing 200hp @ 4200 RPM.
